A Heartwarming Christmas Celebration
The festive spirit continued this week as the Oyster Care Foundation hosted its annual Participants Christmas Lunch, held last 9th December at the beautifully appointed Lantern Club Roselands!
It was a delightful afternoon dedicated to our valued participants, many of whom attended accompanied by their dedicated support workers. The room was buzzing with excitement and festive cheer, making for a truly memorable event.
Food, Fun, and Festivities

What better way to celebrate than with food everyone loves? The lunch menu featured plenty of delicious pizza, which proved to be a major hit and was thoroughly enjoyed by our participants!
The feast was completed with a truly special dessert: a sumptuous cake brought in by Isata. Everyone happily indulged in the delicious cake, adding an extra layer of sweetness to the celebration.
Spreading Christmas Cheer

The dining tables were set with care and included an interactive touch: Christmas bonbons! Participants and support workers enjoyed pulling them open, laughing, and sharing the silly contents.
For many, the most touching moment came when every single participant was given a special Christmas gift to take home. This small gesture had a profound impact, highlighting the true meaning of the season.
One participant's comment deeply resonated with the whole team: she planned to save her gift to open on Christmas Day, as it might be the only present she receives.

Moments like this reaffirm why the Oyster Care Foundation is so proud to be able to give back to our participants in such a meaningful way, ensuring they can share the Christmas joy.
We extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s Christmas lunch a success. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, celebrate, and create beautiful memories with the heart of the Oyster Care Foundation—our participants
