In a partnership between the Oyster Tribe Aboriginal Corporation and the Oyster Care Foundation, with backing from the NSW Government and the Aboriginal Language Trust, this initiative is designed to inspire and empower. The goal is simple but powerful: to help these young girls reconnect with their identity and community by learning the traditional ways of their ancestors.

 

Through hands-on cultural immersion and language revitalization, the program offers a space where participants can embrace their heritage, guided by the wisdom of respected Aboriginal Elders. It’s about building confidence, fostering a sense of belonging, and ensuring that the stories, language, and traditions of the Aboriginal community continue to thrive for generations to come.
